The SARITOR difference: (View Products Page)
HARDI engineers have realised a self propelled sprayer that delivers on expectation with loads of horse power, fuel efficient and easy to maintain.
Attention to detail set SARITOR apart. For example the sprayer is demountable which adds value by providing a platform that can be used for other operations like spreading.
A drop down fluid module design under the chassis provides easy and safe access to all the fluid components.
The mechanical drive train is 40 to 60% more fuel efficient than a hydrostatic transmissions. A proven engine and transmission combination delivers uninterrupted power during shift changes which equates to more horsepower to the ground.
Outstanding strength, ride and handling ensure excellent boom performance. Road speeds of up to 70 kph provide the fastest turn around time between fills.
First class cab comfort with ample headroom & legroom for both operator and passenger. Intelligent lay out of finger tip multi-function controls provides the highest level of performance and application precision
Let’s elaborate on some of the differentiating benefits.
The 275 horsepower Cummins (Tier 3) engine generates more than enough power to drive the SARITOR up the steepest inclines and through the hardest going conditions. It is an advanced engine design with full authority electronic control and high-pressure common-rail fuel injection which translates into refined rapid power delivery, reduced noise and improved fuel efficiency.
The SARITOR mechanical drive transmission delivers efficient power and economy for outstanding performance. You don’t have to run the engine at maximum rpm to realise the horsepower like you do with hydrostatic transmissions. There’s much less power loss through the mechanical drive train which delivers more power to the ground, better fuel economy and lower running costs.
Over the life of the SARITOR costs will be far less when compared to a hydrostatic transmissions. General repairs and maintenance are easily carried out on farm and this should also reflect in the resale value when it comes time to trade.
At 70 kph the SARITOR is one of the fastest self propelled sprayers on the market. Less down time between fills which is an important consideration with farm sizes increasing and greater distances travelling to & from the filling source.
The 4800 litre tank combined with 36 metre boom delivers the capacity for a high work rate that covers the hectares fast and efficiently.
Excellent visibility to the crop and over the tank provides clear lines of vision reducing operator fatigue. There are fourteen work lights that turn night into day increasing available spray hours and productivity.
Additional future multipurpose flexibility with the demountable sprayer design providing a platform for various attachments such as spreader or chaser bin to be fitted.
The cab is uncluttered with logically set out finger tip controls making the SARITOR convenient and comfortable to operate.
In summary the SARITOR represents value for money at $344,500 plus GST and with the sales programs available today there considerable savings to be had. The SARITOR delivers more power to the ground than equivalent self propelled sprayers and yet is more fuel efficient. It has a faster road speed than most other SP’s and the demountable sprayer design provides for cost effective, multi purpose flexibility. It’s a low maintenance machine and will save considerable dollars over the life of the sprayer.
Key technical pointsThe Cummins QSB 6.7 litre 275 horsepower engine is Tier 3 rated and features full authority electronic control and it come with 2 years warranty. It delivers refined rapid power, reduced noise and improved fuel efficiency. The Turbo charged with air to air after cooling, develops 715 ft lb of torque at 1500 rpm.
Single pass cooling system is a first for agriculture, five radiators cores are stacked on top of each other rather than layered behind one another as in a conventional design. Cooler air is pushed through each radiator core providing more efficient cooling system. The system is easy to clean and maintain with a side access.
The Allison RDS 3000 heavy duty 6 speed automatic transmission delivers uninterrupted power during shift changes and comes with up to 3 year warranty. The inertia energy built up by the engine is maintained, which equates to more horsepower to the ground.
The heavy duty JCB differential is integrated into the centre of the rear axle, with outboard disc brakes and universals positioned well out of the dust. On-the-go foot pedal operated hydraulic differential-lock transfers the power equally to the back wheels in tough conditions.
Chassis rails are heavy duty bolted C-section made from domex 520Mpa high tensile steel which allow 30 degrees of frame flex. The oversized axles with 1.2m under axle clearance are coupled to 10 tonne capacity Fairfield cast iron gear-type final-drives providing reassuring load carrying capacity and strength to go anywhere.
Hydraulically powered, self-adjusting disc brakes with dual calliper on the rear and single calliper on the front. The rear discs brakes are located outboard of the differential housing where they are easily maintained and with the large diameter hub-mounted front discs the SARITOR has exceptional braking power.
High capacity fast filling is through a 3 inch camlock to the main tank and a 2 inch camlock to the flush tank. Both are independently controlled with their own isolation ball valves. The main tank filling is equipped with a high volume in-filling filter to ensure minimal contamination.
Loading chemicals and operating the sprayer from the ground is easy with all the operational functions at your finger tips. Ground control switches manage the product pump, main tank suction valve, chemical transfer, and 12-volt 60S rinse gun.
The TurboFiller utilises a combination of vacuum suction and TurboDeflector to creating a powerful liquid rotation to thoroughly mixes chemicals into solution before they are transferred. The vacuum suction created by a venturi uses pump pressure to transfer the solution into the main tank. A built-in rotating nozzle is used to rinse chemical containers and the TurboFiller itself.
Fluid system is integrated into one removable drop-down module for easy access and serviceability. It houses all the fluid components including the Infilling system, Main and Flush Tank electric valves, Hyprofluid pump, Rinse system valves, CycloneFilter, Scienco chemical transfer pump and Flojet 60S rinse system. The fluid system is driven by a stainless steel hypro centrifugal product pump.
Rate control & boom distribution utilises a high capacity, high-speed electric regulation valve and modular Electric Fast Control (EFC) boom section valves. They are durable positive motor drives, ensuring long life with low maintenance and can be manually operated.
Cab control is via finger tip multi-function joystick in conjunction with the HC6500 spray controller to provide the highest level of performance and application precision. A rotary dial is used to select normal spraying, tank rinse, tank empty and boom flush functions. The HC6500 with large colour display with six windows of information is user-friendly. Boom hydraulic functions and section control is managed from the joystick and spray box.
A spacious deluxe cab has panoramic views to the front and sides even with booms folded. The bonnet design provides a clear line of vision to the crop and front tyres. Uncluttered and set out for finger tip control makes SARITOR convenient and comfortable to operate.
The cab include deluxe full floating air ride operator’s seat with instructor’s seat and adjustable steering. There is a floor mounted accelerator, brake & diff-lock pedals. A joy stick for driving and spraying with console controls for the fluid system, track and boom. Operating instrumentation, Allison electronic auto control, engine management control and spray management control.
Independent ride level air bag suspension with heavy duty shock absorbers provide exceptional boom ride and operator comfort. The trailing link arm suspension design allows the front axle to oscillate and the heavy duty anti-sway torsion bar reduces the chassis roll for greater boom stability.
Quick and easy hydraulic track width adjustment provides for on road or in field operation. On-the-go adjustability gives additional comfort and ride by enhancing stability. Each wheel can be independently adjusted if required to reduce soil compaction and dust generation.
Excellent lighting for safe work and road transport extends the spraying day with enough lights to turn night into day. A total of 18 specifically positioned Halogen lights including 4 HID roof mounted lights direct the light to exactly where it is required. Operating at night is comfortable with minimal light in the cab and with the night screen function on the HC6500 spray controller.
FORCE Boom; The tri-fold, three dimensional construction 30 to 36 metres booms are incredibly strong and stable. Hydraulic wing tilt provides convenience and flexibility while the optional ultrasonic AutoHeightControl ensures the boom will automatically react to changes in field conditions.
