Field Service Trainee
As part of a group of highly experienced and specialised technicians, you will learn and ultimately practice the craft of Diesel Technician. During your development, you will gain exposure to fluid dynamics, machine and task control electronics, Geo-spatial systems and pneumatics. Under the guidance of your senior team members, you will learn the invaluable skill of field diagnosis and repair.
Applicants should note that they will need to learn and work within the expectations of HARDI’s valued farming customer base. This can mean that at times it is necessary to work outside of customary working hours (including weekends). Applicants will be expected to be sufficiently flexible to meet this requirement. Please note that this is not a career for an 8.00-4.30, five day a week person.
- Assisting the field service team provide phone support
- Assisting onsite machine service, diagnosis and repairs (at Cavan site)
- Machine functional machine testing
- Supporting and eventually providing field service to HARDI customers
With the objective of timely case resolution, HARDI 's field service team provides support to its dealer network across Australia and New Zealand.
The Work Environment:
Your work environment will be varied. You will have the opportunity to travel within SA and eventually nationally. Although primarily based at our Cavan site, applicants must have the freedom to travel as dictated by workflow.
As part of HARDI Australia, the successful candidate will receive ongoing training and development up to and beyond the point of gaining their trade qualification. Your remuneration structure will be generous and, subject to satisfactory progression, you will be assigned a fully maintained company vehicle once you are able to independently attend field work. Importantly, you will also benefit from working with “beyond the curve technology” within Australia's leading manufacturer of agricultural spraying equipment.
